Olen tehnyt ensimmäisen kaavan, kynähamekaavan. Olin aina kiinnostunut tekemään sen, mutta minulla ei koskaan ollut aikaa. Mutta lopulta tässä se on. Tämä on ensimmäinen kokeiluni ja olen todella tyytyväinen, :) Hame on tehty keltaisesta mokkasta.

I made my first pattern, a pencil skirt pattern. I was always interested to do that but never really had time to that. But finally here it is. This is my first trial and I am really satisfied, the measures are good :) I made it of yellow suede.

Työskennellessäni nahan kanssa, halusin kokeilla vielä yhtä tekniikkaa. Mietin, mitä leikata ja päätin, että se olisi sana, jolla on 4 kirjainta, koska en halunnut tehdä siitä liian monimutkaista. En tiennyt kuinka vaikeaa se voisi olla. Etsin positiivisia neljä kirjainta. Halusin myös, että jokainen kirjain on eri väri. Tässä on tulos ja olen tyytyväinen! Se ei ole niin vaikeaa kuin näyttää ja uskon, että se on mielenkiintoinen menetelmä joillekin tuleville hankkeille.

Working with leather again I wanted to try one more technique: cutout. I was thinking what to cut out and decided it would be some word up to 4 letters as I didn't want to make it too complicated. I didn't know how hard it would be. I was looking for some positive four letters. I wanted also each letter to be different color. So here is the result and I am satisfied! It is not as difficult as it seems to be and I believe it is interesting form for some future projects.

Nauran itselleni, koska hankeeni lopussa teen aina pieniä pussukoita. En voi kieltää sitä, että pidän niistä ja on myös miellyttävää tehdä niitä. Tässä tapauksessa minulla oli pieniä nahkakappaleita jäljellä, ja olen myös viimeinen henkilö, joka heittää kankaat pois. Väriyhdistelmä on niin mukavaa, eikö olekin?

I laugh at myself as  I always end up with small pouches... I cannot deny that  I like those and it is also pleasant to make them. In this case I just had some small leather pieces left after my bigger projects and also I am the last person to throw fabrics away. And the color combination is so nice, isn't it?
